Hogan, who comes from 20-year careers in the automotive and office machine industries, foresees a huge change this new mode of transportation will bring to Reno. New communities are planned with bike paths included in their infrastructure. The Reno/Sparks area is growing, and commuters can find amazing value in ownership of Pedego electric bikes. “Locals can leave their cars parked and ‘Pedego’ to work without arriving all sweaty and exhausted,” said Hogan.

The store’s rental fleet will take riders to exciting destinations on picturesque, scenic paths around the area. Washoe County boasts at least 86 miles of bike paths and an additional 230 miles of bike lanes. The region’s newest gem is a bike path along the eastern edge of the Truckee Meadows with common sightings of wild horses and dozens of species of birds. To the west, views include the skyline of Reno and the snowcapped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Other destinations include Wingfield Springs, Hidden Valley Regional Park, Rancho San Rafael, Bartley Ranch, Golden Eagle and more.

Pedego Reno’s guided tours will soon take riders to these scenic regional parks. Tours will also include a double-dip ice cream treat from aptly named Icecycle Creamery, back in the Shops at Bartley Ranch Center where Pedego Reno is located.
