Pedego Electric Bikes Opens in Houston Heights

Locally-Owned Electric Bike Shop Celebrates Grand Opening with Community Event and Ribbon Cutting; Special Guest to Include Local Commissioner, Pedego CEO and Professional Golfer, Esteban Toledo
HOUSTON—March 26, 2021— Pedego Electric Bikes, a leading electric bike brand, is now open in Houston Heights and located at 600 N. Shepherd Dr. Ste. 454. Local store owners, Jason and Amanda, invite the community to a celebratory grand opening event with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, March 26, at 12 p.m.
“We’re excited to establish a Pedego Electric Bike community in Houston Heights,” said Jason. “With the opening of our new store, we hope to inspire our neighborhood to embark on outdoor adventures and to make connections within the Pedego community of riders. We’re eager to see how our community embraces the wanderlust spirit of Pedego.”
The event will feature Pedego’s Hello Fun Tour Bus, a fire truck, special guests, giveaways, refreshments and more. Commissioner Rodney Ellis, responsible for expanding the bike lane by 50 miles each year and Pedego CEO Don DiCostanzo will be in attendance. Professional golfer and PGA Tour champion Esteban Toledo will also be available for autographs during the event.
Jason and Amanda will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a Pedego Electric Bike valued at $1995. All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be donated to the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign.
Pedego Houston Heights is proud to partner with the local police department to design a special Pedego Electric Fleet Police Patrol Bike. Made possible by the city of Houston, Pedego is supplying e-bikes to their task force.
