Local Electric Bike Shop Hosts Group Bike Ride And Community Event, Inspires Connection And Outdoor Activity
AIKEN, S.C.—April 17, 2021—As part of Pedego’s nationwide “Hello Fun Tour,” Pedego Electric Bikes in Aiken is hosting a neighborhood Palooza event featuring the Hello Fun Tour Bus, VIP customer appreciation swag bags and interactive festivities on Saturday, April 17, starting at 11 a.m.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests can attend multiple trainings, enjoy Pedego group rides, experience bike demonstrations and partake in giveaways and complimentary refreshments. Guests will also enjoy music from a live band, craft beer, wine services from a local wine shop and delicious bites from local restaurants from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, Pedego CEO Don DiCostanzo, Pedego Director of Business Development Cynthia Newcomb and Pedego Vice President of Marketing Cassidy Castleman will be in attendance.
“We are thrilled to host this Palooza event for our local Pedego community,” said Coker Day, owner of Pedego Aiken. “Pedego is focused on connection with others, adventure and simply enjoying the outdoors. Cycling is one of our most favorite things to do as a family, and we love that we have the opportunity to share it with the rest of the Aiken community. We have already seen the amazing impact Pedego e-bikes have had on our community, and we’re excited to see it continue to grow.”
Day started exploring the idea of opening a storefront when his wife, Caroline, fell in love with Pedego e-bikes while on a girls’ trip. Day soon became a Pedego fan himself and eventually became part of the Pedego family by opening his store in Aiken.
This event is one stop of many on Pedego’s 2021 Hello Fun Tour. With stops in more than 80 communities that are home to Pedego storefronts, the Hello Fun Tour will highlight more than 40 new store openings, adding to the brand’s footprint of over 140 locally-owned locations.
“The Hello Fun Tour is the highlight of our year at Pedego,” said Pedego CEO, Don DiCostanzo. “We love the opportunity to celebrate our communities. This tour is a unique way for us to show our appreciation and to surprise and delight our store owners and customers.
