Pedego Electric Bikes helps provide clean water in Ugandan villages by donating electric bike for drawing prize at annual fundraising event
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., April 17, 2018 — Pedego® Electric Bikes, the Number 1 brand of electric bikes, is once again doing something unusual: using its electric bikes to take part in a charity run. The company is a corporate sponsor of Mission Viejo-based non-profit Wells of Life, an organization building fresh-water wells in villages across Uganda. Pedego donated $12,000 in funds to build two wells, each of which will provide fresh water for 1,000 people for 25 years.
Pedego has also donated a Comfort Cruiser electric bike, valued at $2,295, as an opportunity drawing prize at the upcoming Run4Water 2018 fundraising event. And even more, Pedego is also sponsoring a team in the Run4Life 1K/5K walk/run. The Run4Water event will take place at Laguna Niguel Regional Park on April 22. This is the second year that Pedego is participating in the Run4Water event.
